A memory of being a child looking through our family photo album with my younger sister and seeing a sepia toned image of a large dinner. I remember for years so confidently proclaiming to her that THIS was a photo of when we used to be rich, couldn’t she see? Everything was gold in tone and I just knew -it WAS actual gold. Ive always found this funny. Upon reflection on a time when my father was still alive, it did feel as if that was a time when we were rich. I wanted this piece to have the same energy that photo gave me. Four candles representing our family unit,  a spread of the abundant love shared.
